Nakhiduri HPP: Installation of Automatic Flow Meters and Radar Water Gauges

VORTEX Water Engineering’s technical team contributed to the construction of the Nakhiduri Hydropower Plant (HPP) by installing automatic flow meters at the headworks facility to enable precise monitoring of the natural runoff of the Khrami River.

In 2024, under a follow-up agreement with Nakhiduri HPP, we also installed a radar-based water meter on the river to ensure accurate measurement of water flow. This device continuously records the volume of water abstracted by the HPP from the river, providing reliable data for efficient water resource management.
