SOCAR Azerbaijan: Supply of HACH Laboratory Equipment

In 2024, VORTEX Water Engineering won a public tender announced by SOCAR for the supply of HACH laboratory equipment. As part of the project, we delivered the following advanced instruments and accessories:

• 2 tungsten lamps

• 2 deuterium lamps

• Laboratory flasks and sample vials

• HACH HQ4300 portable multiparameter meter for measuring:

  • pH

  • Conductivity

  • Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)

  • Salinity

  • Dissolved Oxygen (DO)

  • Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP)

• 3 Intellical PHC101 field pH electrodes

• 2 Intellical CDC401 4-pole field conductivity probes

• 2 Intellical LDO101 optical dissolved oxygen sensors

• 2 Intellical MTC101 field RedOx electrodes

In addition, we provided software updates, equipment calibration, and system verification services to ensure accurate and reliable laboratory operations.

During the same year, we also supplied SOCAR with:

• HACH nitrification inhibitor for Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) analysis

• Polyseed BOD inoculum (buffer solution sets for respirometric BOD testing)

• Standard solutions for chlorine, iron, and sulfates

By delivering this equipment and support, VORTEX Water Engineering helped SOCAR enhance its laboratory testing capacity and ensure high-precision water quality analysis.
