Since its founding by Ludwig Krohne in Duisburg, Germany, in 1921, KROHNE has been manufacturing instruments for measuring the physical parameters of liquids and gases.

In 2021, KROHNE officially entered the Georgian market with its full product portfolio and comprehensive technical services, selecting the Georgian water and wastewater engineering company, VORTEX Water Engineering, as its partner.

Electromagnetic Flowmeters

These devices are designed to measure the flow of conductive liquids, including for safety-related applications. These meters are widely used across a spectrum ranging from drinking water to highly viscous, abrasive, and aggressive fluids.

Variable Area Flowmeters

These are actively used to measure the volumetric flow rate of both conductive and non-conductive liquids and gases. The devices feature a simple yet highly efficient mechanical operating principle.

Ultrasonic Flowmeters

Ultrasonic flowmeters are designed to measure the flow of gases, liquids, and steam for both commercial and industrial applications.

Coriolis Mass Flowmeters

Ideal for high-precision measurement of gases, liquids, or mixed mediums, such as liquids with gas entrainment. These devices determine mass flow rate, volumetric flow rate, density, temperature, and concentration of the medium.

Vortex Flowmeters

These meters are developed for high-tech energy management and safety instrumented systems.

Level, Pressure, and Temperature Measurement

For water level measurement, KROHNE offers transmitters, switches, and indicators. Pressure measurement devices include transmitters, primary elements, and diaphragm seals, while temperature measurement solutions comprise assemblies, sensors, transmitters, and accessories.
