Wastewater treatment systems from ATB Water GmbH represent the most modern and innovative installations globally. With over 100,000 systems sold, ATB is the undisputed leader in Germany.

In 1999, the founders of a small German company, “Abwassertechnik Baumann,” set out to technically simplify wastewater systems and make them financially more accessible.

That same year, they created a new generation of wastewater treatment systems, AQUAMAX®, based on SBR technology.

Following a testing period, AQUAMAX® received technical approval for commercialization in the German market – (No. Z-55.3-53 (DIN 4261). This marked the beginning of the history of one of the most successful companies in the wastewater treatment industry.

Today, AQUAMAX® is the technical standard not only in Germany but across all of Europe.

AQUAMAX® PRO G

The device is developed for filtering irregularly generated and heavily polluted wastewater from hotels, gastronomy, and food processing companies.

AQUAMAX® PRO XL

The system is based on standard components and can be implemented quickly and easily. The wastewater treatment technology is designed for small settlements and villages, as well as for hotels and commercial businesses.

AQUAMAX® PRO XXL

AQUAMAX® PRO XXL is an SBR wastewater treatment system for industrial, tourism, and municipal applications. It is capable of treating up to 1,500 m³ of water per day. The system is used for wastewater with variable flow rates, such as that from medium to large-scale businesses or municipal wastewater.

ATB WATER manufactures and develops core components required for biological wastewater treatment.

Sludge Treatment

The wastewater treatment process always generates large amounts of sludge. In the initial stage of treatment, the sludge is thickened, which typically involves additional sedimentation. If necessary, the stabilized sludge can be thickened once again and dewatered.

AQUAMAX® PRO CUBE

AQUAMAX® PRO CUBE is a containerized wastewater treatment system, available with both SBR and MBBR technologies for biological treatment.
