
FAO: Implementation of Multiparameter Systems for Water Quality Monitoring
VORTEX Water Engineering won the tender announced within the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) project — “Support to Georgia’s Food Safety and Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Sectors”.
The tender included the supply of oxymeters (multiparameter measuring instruments), MPN-based complete coliform detection kits, and additional equipment for monitoring water quality parameters and identifying bacterial contamination.
Among the equipment supplied by VORTEX were:

HACH coliform and E. coli detection kits based on the MPN method

HACH portable incubator for microbiological testing

Incubator tube racks and other accessories required for laboratory analysis
The project aimed to provide freshwater fisheries with the necessary tools for water quality monitoring, contributing to safer food production and improved environmental control in Georgia.
